Kurt Senser and Heather Powers are the reigning U.S. Open swing dance champions. To earn the title, they had to outperform couples from around the world. They make it look easy. But, it took them decades of dancing on different stages before they found chemistry together. For years, Heather was a professional ballerina, while Kurt danced ballroom and country. Once they met, Kurt came out of a 15 year retirement from competition to dance with Heather. The rest, as they say, is history.
